1. Goals
1. Coordinate with national policies to educate talents vested with capability in both theoretical and practical affairs.
2. Respond to industrial technique demands from middle Taiwan and materialize self-orientation curricula for various departments and institutes.
3. Enrich the capability of both teachers and students in dealing with practical techniques and R&D creativity and also promote cross-discipline knowledge integration.
4. Develop excellent colleges vested with professional capability, human cultural levels, social concerns and global version.

2. Features
It aims to coordinate with both national policies and industrial features in middle Taiwan. The curricula and research domains for various departments at the Engineering College are regulated with contents including advanced production techniques & precision machine design, photoelectric automation, green energy technology, refrigeration techniques, polymer material development, examinations and processing, and production process & development for special chemicals. There are 3 feature points regulated for the Engineering College and these research domains include display technique courses, green energy technology courses and semiconductor & micro-mechanical-electronic courses. All departments and institutes at the Engineering College have passed international certifying examinations. To coordinate our school version, aside from the development for green technology engineering and applied science courses, the Engineering College also encourage students to aggressively learn relevant courses and enhance employment competence. Furthermore, the feature laboratory of green fuel cells is also established to integrate internal and external resources between teachers and industrial business organizations. It aims to achieve the version to become an excellent industrial school oriented by green technology.

Goal Setting

The co-laboratory of the Engineering College –The clean room
The clen room is purposed for both talent cultivation and R&D to expand some applied science domains like semiconductors, micro-mechanical-electronic products, flat display pannels and photoelectric products. Various departments and institutes are provided with the work environment of clean room and relevant facilities for different production process arrangement and tests. It aims to cultivate hi-technology talents both proficient in theoretical and practical affairs and aggressively increase the cooperation opportunities among our school, external R&D institutes and other business organizations to enhance the upgrade for traditional industries and the development for hi-technology industries.

The co-laboratory of the Engineering College - the Fuel Cell Laboratory

To coordinate with current energy crisis, governmental carbon-decreasing policies and professional specialties of teachers at various departments and institutes, our school focus academic effort on the development of fuel cells. Because the technology for fuel cells is combined with the techniques involved with mechanical engineering, chemical material and refrigeration engineering techniques including precision production and processing for fuel cell components (mechanical engineering), flow channel design (mechanical and refrigeration engineering), simulation (chemical material and refrigeration engineering ), fuel cell material and catalysts (chemical material engineering), the co-laboratory, namely the fuel cell laboratory, is therefore established with the approval from management ranker meetings at the College of Engineering.

Goal Setting

Fuel cells mean a brand new and clean energy under endeavoring effort both locally and internationally. It is involved with wide technique and science domains mainly including heat flow, precision production, design, material, electro-chemical and electro-mechanical control engineering. At present, there are 3 departments at our Engineering College, namely the Department of Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning and Energy Engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Chemical Engineering and Material Engineering with highly professional and harmonious professional faculties available. It is an engineering college with extremely promising cross-discipline potentials in academic research. Based on such an advantageous condition, the College of Engineering establishes the Fuel Cell Technique Development Laboratory.

The Fuel Cell Technique Development Laboratory of the College of Engineering is planned to out as below:
1. Integration for curriculum resources
2. Integration for research resources
3. Resource layout of application and implementation for NSC plans
4. Resource layout of application and implementation for academic-industrial cooperation plans
5. Common applications for governmental research plans
6. Common applications for NSC academic-industrial cooperation plans
7. Development for self-made fuel cells
8. Creating educational materials about the fuel cell development
9. Seminar dissertations
10. International journals
